Here we go, again! Another snow storm has left a fresh layer of white powder on NYC's sidewalks. Right now, the piled up slush and black ice has turned the city into a dangerous, slippery landscape. Thus, heels and even ballet flats are not sensible choices when commuting. These old-fashioned sneakers are a good alternative to my traditional snow boots. They keep my feet comfy, and help keep me from landing face-first in the ice.
