3 Outfit Options To Rock At The Parade

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, everyone!

For the first time in a few years, I have decided to spend this Turkey Day in the city. Like many Americans on Thanksgiving morning, I watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade at the comfort of my living room. Since I am staying put this holiday, I decided to head down to the streets and watch the parade live.

Now, deciding what to wear on this festive day is major. I will be standing on the sidelines for a few hours, so I will no doubt get cold. But I do not want to look too winter frumpy either. Here are 3 looks I am playing with. Which one do you think I should rock at the parade?

Laurie

Uptown Girl
Uptown Girl

Echoing my Upper East Side neighborhood, this Uptown Girl look is polished and well put together. The black and white motif is brightened up with pops of bright red accessories — just in time for the holiday season!

Hipster Chic
For a most comfortable look, a chic sweatshirt and cozy plaid coat is a must. This look is the perfect blend of edgy downtown girl meets neighborhood hipster.

Stylish Ski Bunny

Now, in case the weather decides to take a nose dive, I am playing with the idea of this killer ski bunny look. A heavy-duty puffer jacket layered atop a snuggly knit sweater will no doubt keep the chill out. And — just in case it decides to precipitate — waterproof boots will keep my feet nice and dry.
