Fashion Lessons From The Front Row

Fashion month is coming to a close soon, and I wanted to take a few minutes to share some insightful lessons I have learned from the front row attendees of these recent fashion shows. See, the front row of these events is typically filled with A-list celebs and big-name editors of the Devil Wears Prada persuasion. These lucky peeps always managed to look so perfect in their pictures that I had to figure out their secrets. Turns out, there are certain do's that you just need to, well, do in order to take a good picture sitting front row.

Now, before you say "I'll never sit in the front row of a fashion show!" hear me out. These fashion tips work for photos at weddings, dinner parties, and reunions too! Keep scrolling to score the tips.

Dress Like A Lady: When you're sitting in the front row it means the photographers are most likely taking your photo from a higher angle.  It's important to keep in mind that a modest cleavage can mean the difference between dainty and disastrous. Take a page out of these A-list ladies' style book and pick a neckline that's appropriate and safe.

Add A Pop Of Color: Miss Lily Collins knows that a splash of pink goes a long way. Follow her lead and accessorize with a bright hue. Shades of reds and pinks photograph extremely well and will draw attention to you in photos.

Find A Signature Look: No one knows the impact of a signature more than Anna Wintour. The editrix is famous for donning her Chanel shades and iconic bob hairstyle. If you don't mind the repetition of it all, find a look that flatters you and stick with it. Over time, you will find that a reputation builds around you and your signature look

Don't Forget Your Shoes: Who can forget the importance of shoes?! If you score a front row seat anywhere keep in mind that your feel are most likely going to make it in the photo. Be sure to pick a pair that's cute, flattering, and maybe a little bit more over-the-top than what you're used to. Trust me, you're going to love how the pictures will turn out.
