This last week was unbelievably hot in the city! Seriously, when the thermostat flirts with the 100 degree marker, it almost hurts to go outside. To help me keep my cool in this heat, I rely on light fabrics like cotton and jersey. On a weekend brunch trip, I went with this casual brown-themed ensemble. Free People is my go-to for comfy summer skorts, I just love the gold embellishments on this one. However, I never skimp on my accessories: A bright bag and heavy chains completed this look.
